Made for their age

Letters that grow up with your kid

Zip doesn't write one letter for everyone. Every letter is written for your child's age and reading level — and the storytelling levels up as they grow.

UNDER 4

The read-aloud years

Short, musical letters made to be read out loud together — big moments, big pictures, and their name in lights.

AGES 4–6

The magic years

Playful letters with missions, first clues to solve, and words they're just learning to read for themselves.

AGES 7+

The reader years

Richer chapters, trickier mysteries, and letters that respect how much they can do on their own now.

And here's the part families love: when your child grows into the next band, Zip's storytelling grows with them — same friend, bigger adventures. A 3-year-old and a 7-year-old get very different letters. Your child never outgrows Zip.

Good to know

Quick questions

When does the first letter arrive?
After signup, Zip uses the child's details to prepare the first personalized mailing — it's usually in the mail within about a week, and your welcome email keeps you posted.
Can kids write back to Zip?
Yes. Writing back is part of the magic and helps kids practice real-world communication in a playful way.
What ages is this for?
Kids ages 3-12. Every letter is written for your child's reading level across three bands — Under 4 (read-aloud), Ages 4-6, and Ages 7+ — and the storytelling levels up as your child grows into the next band. Same Zip, bigger adventures: they never outgrow him.
Can I cancel?
Monthly plans can be canceled anytime — reply "stop" and you won't be charged again. The prepaid year is a one-time payment that never auto-renews — it simply ends after letter 12 (renew only if you love it). Gift years work the same way. Charges already made aren't refundable.
What if I am giving this as a gift?
Gift a full year of Zip for $150 — one-time, never auto-renews; it simply ends after letter 12. Gift checkout takes about 2 minutes: pay once, then tell us who it's for — the child's grown-up gets a magical invitation from Zip and sets everything up themselves. Giving it for a birthday or holiday? You pick the date the invitation goes out, or print a beautiful announcement card to hand over in person. Gift a full year →

A promise from a fellow parent

Your child's privacy comes first

This club runs on trust: you're telling us your child's name and what they love. Here's exactly how we treat that.

We collect only what Zip needs to write. First name, age, interests, mailing address. That's the list.

We never sell or share your child's data. Not to advertisers, not to “partners.” Ever.

Parents control everything. Every account is created and managed by a parent or guardian — kids never sign up, and replies to Zip go through you.

Delete it anytime. Ask and your child's profile is gone — one email is all it takes.

The fine print, in plain English: our privacy policy.

The human behind Zip

Why I Made This

Hi, I'm Mack, the dad behind Zip's Mailbox Club!

This whole idea started at my kitchen table with my own two kids, Jack and Alexandra.

I realized how rare it had become for children to receive something truly theirs, something tangible, like a personalized letter with their own name on it. Something they could hold, open, read (and reread), and get excited about before they even saw what was inside.

Not another screen or app. Just the simple magic of finding real mail waiting for them in their very own mailbox.

I still remember how exciting that felt when I was a kid, and I wanted my children to experience that same feeling too.

So I created Zip, a magical classic postage stamp who lives inside the mailbox and absolutely LOVES writing to kids.

Zip remembers little details, sends stories and surprises, introduces new Mailbox Crew friends one month at a time, and writes letters that feel like they came from a real friend waiting just inside the mailbox.

Every envelope is hand-packaged and designed to feel personal, imaginative, and truly special, because it is.

Before anything goes out to another family, I ask myself one question:

Would I be excited to hand this to my own kids?

That's the standard. It always will be.

Thank you for letting Zip become part of your family's mailbox adventures. We're truly honored to be a small part of your child's world.
